ELBOW - GENTLE

REST & MASSAGE

Limit all exercises and daily activities to discomfort only
Elevation Stroking Massage

Place the limb in elevation - pillows on a table.
Beginning from below the site of pain and swelling stroke firmly along arm towards shoulder. Repeat 30x every couple of hours. 
Flexion & Extension Ranging.

Either in sitting or standing, bend elbow up until discomfort, then lower straight to mild discomfort.
Repeat 20x, every two hours. 
Supination Pronation Ranging

With elbow bent at right angle, turn hand up until mild discomfort, then turn hand down until mild discomfort.
Repeat 20x every two hours. 

EVERY 2 OR 3 DAYS RETURN TO ELBOW ASSESSMENT TO CHECK ON YOUR IMPROVEMENT, AS BY THE LINK BELOW, AND, AS FUNCTION IMPROVES, FOLLOW THE GUIDE TO ADVANCE YOUR REHABILITATION.
