Then follow the range of movement guide below. It might be useful to have another person to estimate how much of your range you have before you feel pain or stiffness.

Write the percentage of movements in the calculator below and it will give you the average of all ranges as your functional range. This will give you the starting point and link for your rehabilitation as below.
Write this down so you can refer to it every few days to measure your improvement by following the rehabilitation guides as below. Then click the clear button to clear the form for the next time you use.    

Posture
Assess your posture by having another person take a photo from the side and the back. Note whether there is any kyphosis or scoliosis.
Flexion
Test flexion in sitting by curling your forehead towards your knees. The full spine will allow you to touch your forehead to your knees. Note how far from this you feel any pain or stiffness. 

Write as Flexion = e.g 50%
Extension
Test extension in sitting with hands behind head and looking up and back as far as can. Full range is being able to stretch back comfortably to look up at the sky. Note any pain or stiffness. 

Write as = e.g 50%
Lateral Flexion
Test lateral flexion in standing by reaching down each side of your leg. Full range is being able to reach to the side of the knee. Note how far from this you feel any pain or stiffness .
Zero / Neutral range is the level of your hand in standing - usually about mid thigh. 
Repeat to the other side. 

Write as Lateral Flexion e.g (R) = 50%
Rotation
Test rotation in sitting by turning to each side.
Full range is being able to turn the shoulders 1/2 towards the back. 
Zero or Neutral range is sitting facing forward.
